Someone else

A prince who

Was a pauper

Who’s worked everyday

An unruly survivor

Who will have his say

A lover a father

A man in the know

Who’s travelled the world

But had no place to go

I’m someone who’s liked

And I’m someone who’s not

Who hasn’t been right

If I was I forgot

So who stands before you

Just who do you see

Is there a two

In this picture of me

Someone who’s lost

Who doesn’t know why

And found to his cost
