Everything is built on top subjectivity.

The thing about hallucinations is they happen

before reality — the person in the thing in your peripherals

before snapping to mere shadow.

Let us lift this surface.

Imagination can be the tire wedge.

Poetry operates by an imagination quicker than perception

and this is terrible poetry.

In those days my body was flexible

and time passed like bars of light

on the youthful meditator: explanandum.

Maybe you said if we could dream forever.
